The slurs were created using my convert to slur button. The ties are template objects, which can be dragged to any length.
I also use templates for tuplets and crescendo/diminuendo hairpins. I use Extensis' VectorLibrary to organise templates.
The different thicknesses of the stafflines is a result of exporting this GIF from FreeHand. t4.1.2.gif
